The Turquoise Trail is a designated National Scenic Byway, State Highway 14, that connects Albuquerque and Santa Fe through a mountainous region of prehistoric turquoise mines, historic towns, and eclectic art communities.
Artists from Santa Fe, Cerrillos, Madrid, and Cedar Crest will have their studio and gallery doors open for your visit. Come see our beautiful landscape, meet the artists, observe demos, and collect our diverse and eclectic artwork.
About the Tour
Our artists welcome you into their studios for conversation and collecting. Painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, glass art, and more! Many artists reflect colors and themes of New Mexico in their art.
Always the last two weekends in September!
All studios are open Saturday & Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm.
Our artist’s studios are set in some of New Mexico’s most beautiful landscapes. Traverse the nationally-designated Scenic Byway of the Turquoise Trail and make your way through the mining towns of Cerrillos and Madrid, visiting our artists in their beautiful natural habitats.
